Maneeley’s staff treated Sara and I with the utmost respect and kindness. They were completely accommodating to our last minute call, and the owner personally walked us throughout the property. We were blown away by the cleanliness of the grounds, the kitchen, and the first class operation that was being run. We overwhelmingly decided on Maneeley’s for our wedding the minute we left the facility.

- FREE shuttle to and from the venue. The hotel is located about 4-6 miles from Maneeley’s and round trip from the hotel takes about 25 minutes. The hotel handles coordinating the shuttle times for drop off, and we will know more about that the week before the wedding. You can drive to the reception, leave your vehicle at Maneeley’s and shuttle to the Suites as well, you just must reclaim your vehicle from Maneeley’s the following morning within reasonable time. The return shuttles start half hour prior to the conclusion of the reception. Please be responsible, $71 is penny’s compared to your life, we will be a good hour from most of our homes.

When I went in to select Sara’s engagement ring, Owners Susette Tibus & Chuck Sneddon and Manager Jennifer Vincent all treated me just like family. I was beyond ecstatic with the piece they delivered, the budget they delivered it at, and the professional personable care given. Sara had to get the ring sized just right, and was never met with a frown. We also got our wedding bands from them, which we simply love!! Look forward to a long lasting relationship! S&S Music does DJ/Karaoke/Vocals/Weddings/Jack & Jills, Private Parties and Corporate Events. Adam and Sara were drawn to Sean and Shailyn’s company because of their well rounded background. Sean is a excellent DJ who is great at getting the crowd involved, and can easily step in during those times when everyone is using the restrooms. He understands numerous genre’s of music and tastes, and refuses to play a request if your not out there dancing. Their vocals have been showcased across Connecticut in several talent performances, and we trust your ass will be moving and grooving!

I think by far the second most important thing to Sara was the photographer, she spent days and days looking far and wide, high and low and searched tons of reviews to only come back to the photographer she originally had in mind. Valeen of the Sweetest Days. Valeen quickly, and professionally responded to all of Sara and my questions. We booked a session with her for our engagement pictures, which were a riot taking. I felt so close to Sara that day, it was romantic. We then got down to business planning the rest of the wedding …..We’ll letcha know how she does after the big day! Just Kidding!

Sara and I were looking for a florist that was close to the venue so we didn’t have to worry about any mishaps, or confusion. Broad Brook was highly recommended by Maneeley’s, and we had the chance to see their displays at their annual food tasting. The display was amazing, and the staff at Broad Brook really impressed Sara. When she and her mother went up to their business, to view more arrangements and discuss what she wanted, she returned home with no complaints! That’s what I like!

Modern Pastry Shop was also one of our vendor’s that was at Maneeley’s tasting. The guys were drooling over the steaks, the women were drooling over the cakes. Sara said it was the best cake she ever had, as she stole two brownies to come home with. (My mother followed suit). As with the flowers, we wanted to minimize any chance for issue, and going with a local preferred shop was first on our mind. Sara, my lovely wife to be, was all about going up and checking them out again. She came home with more samples!!! I haven’t had a piece yet, but I trust her judgement. You all know me and cake!!! I will take my taste, after she smashes a nice big ol piece in my face!!! (and then I will return the favor, that you’ll be able to savior!)

Everyone knows Premier! Those guys always on the radio! With the best prices in town, and the most lenient restrictions, we found them immediately to be the choice to go to. Like the florist, Premier was also at Maneeley’s food tasting event, and we grabbed a card there. If you know Sara, she won’t stop until she gets the best deal with the best company. I’m more than positive she succeeded with both in selecting Premier as the girls transportation provider! Can’t wait to see her pull up in the Limo! Game time!
